The owners acquired a penthouse with a terrace with the idea of completely renovating it to measure, using quality materials.
For the new design, all their needs and preferences were taken into account. They were mainly looking for a new home with plenty of storage space where they could store everything they had accumulated throughout their lives. And especially considering that they came from a much larger apartment. For this reason, everything has been designed knowing what would go in each place.
Custom made furniture from the manufacturer Tegar has been installed throughout the apartment to maximize all spaces. Highlighting the wardrobe on the headboard wall, the living room furniture composed of different modules (cabinets, showcases, drawers, and shelves), the shoemaker located in the hallway, the wardrobe with a small integrated office, and the built-in wall cabinets.
The kitchen was another key point as they enjoy cooking a lot. After the renovation, a modern and large kitchen, open to the living room, has been achieved, composed of a wide variety of modules, achieving a very functional and practical space. The decorative extractor hood from Pando adds design and personality, being the absolute protagonist of this kitchen. Both on the countertop and throughout the front, a Dekton material model called Nillum has been used, inspired by industrial aesthetics, presenting a mix of warm colors that perfectly combines with the rest of the tones present in this space. Another element to highlight is the ceramic rug present on the floor that gives more visual dynamism and greater impact.
The dining room, as a peninsula, divides the kitchen and the TV area. Since it is attached to the kitchen furniture, a table top made of the same material as the countertop has been used, becoming integrated into the set. And the legs in anthracite, like the hood, the pendant lamps, the mechanisms, and the handles of the furniture to create harmony and break the monotony.
In terms of style, the clients wanted to avoid grays, which is why sand tones have been used. Wood has been used very punctually and in a tone that plays well with the rest of the colors, so as not to make it the protagonist since it was very present in the previous apartment they lived in and they were looking to give it a different feel.
We conclude with the terrace, another space that they valued highly in this apartment. With the renovation, a double-leaf balcony door has been installed in the living room (from the Kline brand) that remain hidden, allowing the passage to the terrace to be doubled, thus creating much smoother communication between the two spaces and encouraging them to enjoy it more. In this space, the built-in bench and the structure created in wooden slats with a vertical garden stand out.
