In this project, a certain-aged apartment where the clients already lived was completely renovated. Initially, the housing had a poor layout, presenting several issues associated with space utilization, lighting, circulation, functionality, and comfort, which didn’t help to unleash its full potential.
Therefore, great emphasis was placed on the interior design of the house, taking into account the needs, habits, and tastes of its inhabitants.
With the new layout, the apartment has been divided into a daytime area composed of an open and versatile space, and another area for peaceful rest and sleep. To achieve this, one of the rooms, corridors, and other corners that reduced the useful space of the house were eliminated.
Thanks to the improved access to the terrace, the interior and exterior of this house have been merged, achieving a very pleasant, spacious, and bright daytime area.
The decorative style has been inspired by Nordic homes, where clear and orderly environments, neutral and light tones, wood, and clean lines of furniture predominate, making its interior cozy, warm, and comfortable.
It is worth noting that spaces with different functionalities have been created For example, being able to work from home was one of the project’s requirements, so a comfortable and relaxed workspace has been created in the living room, where one can work during the day. Highlighting the adjustable desk, from the manufacturer Jarvis, which allows working both standing and sitting.
In the master bedroom, a meditation space has been created, which can also, thanks to a sliding door and the furniture with a fold-down bed, be converted into a small guest bedroom.
And a final example is found in the toilet, where the laundry area has been installed inside a cabinet, remaining completely hidden when not in use.
Finally, highlighting some of the brands we have used: Tegar, present in all the closets of the house, bathroom furniture, TV furniture, and in the sideboards and bookcase of the living room. The kitchen furniture from the manufacturer Auró, the Dekton countertop, and the Neff kitchen appliances. The Japanese-style Sensia Arena Grohe toilet and the Bossini bidet faucet. The intelligent Airzone climate control. And finally, the motorized curtains and screens from the supplier Serveis Textils.
