In this project, an inherited apartment has been renovated, where the process was very emotional and exciting for the client due to its sentimental value. The initial objective was to adapt the home to new needs, renew installations, and modernize the decorative style.
Firstly, it’s worth highlighting the layout of the different rooms, where functionality and the client’s comfort have been sought for the design. The daytime area is open-plan, with a kitchen in the form of an island that promotes circulation and access to all points of the room. Additionally, this area benefits from plenty of natural light thanks to the large windows on the exterior facade.
The master bedroom features a spacious walk-in closet, allowing easy access and organization of clothing and accessories. An additional room has been created, with the possibility of being used as a guest bedroom.
A Nordic-style decoration has been chosen, with a touch of color in shades of green, beige, and terracotta. Natural and organic materials have been used throughout the apartment, with wood prominently featured in floors and furniture, creating a very cozy and warm atmosphere.
The renovation also included replacing all exterior carpentry with the aim of improving both thermal and acoustic insulation, which was crucial due to its location on a busy street.
