In this project, we tackled the challenge of transforming an L-shaped layout to achieve a harmonious and functional home. The new arrangement has been meticulously designed to optimize every centimeter, seamlessly merging spaces in a fluid and cohesive manner.
The two youth bedrooms are strategically located in the innermost area, creating a calm and private environment for rest. In contrast, the living-dining room, kitchen, and master bedroom open up to the terrace, maximizing natural light and offering panoramic views of the city of Barcelona. The living room features an orderly and well-lit workspace with a desk and shelves, allowing for focused and comfortable work.
One of the most striking features of this home is the bathroom access, discreetly hidden within the elegant living room furniture. A passage area clad with wooden slats and panels leads to this intimate and secluded space.
The project’s aesthetic is based on a simple design with sophisticated details. The project’s aesthetic is based on a simple design with sophisticated details. Natural materials like wood and stone effect dominate, combined with warm tones that create a cozy and elegant atmosphere. A refined contrast is achieved between the darker flooring and the light-colored furniture, adding character to the space.
Details such as the 3D Orac cladding on the TV wall and workspace subtly elevate the decor. Touches of black, seen in elements like lamps, sockets, and switches, add a modern and refined air to the overall design.
In addition to visual harmony, measures have been implemented to enhance the home’s energy efficiency. A zoned ducted air conditioning system and an aerothermal water heater have been installed. The enclosures have been updated to PVC with a wood effect finish, and insulation has been added to the walls facing the façade, ensuring comfort throughout all seasons.
