The initial goal of this project was to furnish and decorate a newly constructed apartment, making the most of the space and personalizing it to the owners’ tastes and needs.
To break away from the standard model of such constructions, all furniture and decoration options were meticulously studied, from the living-dining room and the bedrooms and bathrooms to the entrance hall and terraces.
To achieve an optimal distribution of furniture and lighting points, power, internet, and TV outlets were modified, and reinforcements were installed in the plasterboard walls to support the weight of shelves and decorative accessories.
Custom-made furniture from Tegar was chosen to fit the specific dimensions and shape of each room, maximizing every available centimetre and matching the intended use.
Aesthetically, the choice was made for a dark brown wood finish with pronounced lines and knots, combined with sand and black colours, resulting in a modern and sober decoration.
Another reason for opting for darker tones was the contrast achieved with the light grey laminated floor and the combination with the existing black window frames in the apartment.
Notable furniture pieces include the TV unit that merges with the dining table, the master bedroom wardrobe with glass doors and a folding (centre) and swing (side) opening system, integrated desks in the wardrobes, and the double foldaway bed in one of the bedrooms.
Throughout the apartment, tables, chairs, lamps, auxiliary furniture, and decorative accessories, mainly from Kave Home and Item Internacional, were installed. For the bathrooms, the vanity unit (from Unibaño), shower screen, and other accessories were installed.
Finally, wallpaper was used in the decoration to break the monotony in the hallway and add an exclusive and original touch to the living room and the headboard area in the bedroom.
