Camp de l’Arpa

Functional and cozy design for a family home

In this project, we renovated an apartment to adapt it to the specific needs of a family, achieving a more functional and balanced layout.

One of the main requirements was to create a second bathroom integrated into the master bedroom, providing comfort and privacy, and redesign the children’s bedrooms to achieve more suitable and practical proportions. To meet these goals, we modified part of the original layout, optimizing the spaces to fulfill the stated needs.

During the renovation, we aimed to reuse existing elements and integrate them harmoniously into the new design. For example, in the kitchen, we kept the countertop, backsplash, appliances, and original furniture while updating the doors to match the overall style. Similarly, in the master bedroom, we preserved the existing furniture, which includes a headboard with a practical workspace behind it and a large-capacity wardrobe that spans an entire wall.

Aesthetically, the design was inspired by a nordic style that maximizes natural light and adds warmth through the use of light wood, predominant white tones, and black details that provide contrast and modernity. The result is a cozy home perfectly adapted to everyday needs.
