In this project, we have given new life to a family inheritance penthouse. This large-scale renovation spans two floors: the main one, intended for living, and the upper one, which features a rooftop area with a pool.
To achieve this, we have paid special attention to the design, studying every detail and achieving a circular layout that optimizes the spaces. The home has been reconfigured according to the current and future needs of the young couple, creating a functional space suited to their new stage as parents. Aesthetic-wise, a modern style has been chosen, with neutral and organic colors that bring calm and elegance while visually enlarging the space. Additionally, the inclusion of black creates a more pronounced and contemporary contrast, highlighting the overall modernity.
We start with the living room, one of the most inviting spaces in the home, divided into two clearly defined areas: on one side, the sofa area, a place of rest and seclusion for watching movies and series; on the other, the dining room, delimited by a double false ceiling at a lower level with indirect lighting and two hanging lamps. This space is completed with a modern closed gas fireplace that adds warmth and sophistication.
The sliding glass doors stand out as an ideal solution for connecting spaces and making the most of natural light, as seen in the kitchen and the hallway, which integrate with the living room. Glass doors with black iron frames were chosen, adding a touch of style and personality to the decor. These doors, made of several sliding panels, allow them to be opened at different levels and hidden within the wall, optimizing the available space.
The kitchen features a central island that functions as a dining area, while the rest of the furniture is arranged in parallel, providing a spacious, comfortable, and practical work area. It also offers plenty of storage space, including a specific area for coffee preparation and a cabinet that houses the laundry room.
The master bedroom suite is another of the most special areas in the home, offering a more intimate and secluded space. It consists of a wardrobe with parallel furniture and a central island, a full bathroom with double sinks, and the bed area, all connected by a hallway adorned with mirrors on the walls that amplify the feeling of spaciousness and enhance the brightness of the space.
The wall behind the bed has become the undisputed focal point of the bedroom, with an elegant dark wood headboard and a suspended nightstand with a drawer on each side. To complete the composition, the rest of the wall has been covered with an original textile mural, divided into rectangles using strips of the same wood, creating a sophisticated and harmonious design.
In addition, this first floor features two additional bedrooms, a second bathroom, and a study, completing the functional design of the home.
The second floor offers a cozy indoor area with a living room, a compact kitchen space, and a toilet, as well as a spectacular private outdoor area comprising a swimming pool, solarium, barbecue, dining area, and chill-out zone.
