A modern and functional apartment with green touches

In this project, the main goal was to create a completely new, modern, and functional home by optimizing every square meter. The aim was to maximize storage space and provide two bedrooms: a master bedroom and another designed as an office, with a bed for guests.

One of the most significant changes was the redistribution of spaces. The kitchen was opened up to the living-dining room, located in the brightest part of the home with direct access to a small terrace.

Aesthetically, a palette of soft tones was chosen, mainly with sand-colored furniture and off-white walls. To add a touch of freshness, green was used in the kitchen, in a light shade that endures over time without becoming overwhelming, accompanied by a wooden module that adds contrast and warmth.

Green is also present in other features of the apartment, such as the bathroom tiles, a wall in the master bedroom, and some textile and lighting details in the living room.

Among the most notable features of the home is the Catalan vaulted ceiling, initially hidden, which was recovered and painted white to enhance brightness and create a greater sense of spaciousness.

Custom-made furniture plays a key role in optimizing the space: the bathroom cabinet that integrates the laundry area, the hallway cupboards, and the folding bed in the guest bedroom are examples of functional design focused on comfort.

Lastly, energy efficiency and comfort were improved thanks to the complete renovation of the enclosures, the installation of a ducted climate-control system, and better insulation.
